I want my still life painting to resonate with the viewer.  Whether it's the nostalgia of an antique object, the reflection of light, or the colour palette I use, I hope the viewer can relate to and find connections in my work.  I love finding the perfect still life objects while hunting in thrift shops and antique stores.  These objects have a silent history and can revive memories from the past.  They are the main characters in my paintings.
